Application – Electrical Insulation.

PTFE coated fabrics are used in the production of Battery Cells for use in Electric cars. The dielectric insulation of PTFE coated Glass prevents any short circuits within the battery cell reducing any risk of overheating or fire.

Composite moulding for Fuel Cell casings.

PTFE coated fabrics are used for pre-heating composite battery material prior to them being moulded for battery casings. The high temperature resistance and release of PTFE coated products are ideal for use in composite battery mouldings.
