Application
Solid and mesh belts are both used in the screen-printing process when the textile is being carried through an oven to heat set a screen-printed ink. This can be on clothing or rolls of textiles and although traditional heat can be used UV light drying is also common. Black fabrics are more commonly used for UV drying as they do not absorb the UV light.
Antistatic fabrics (AS) are often used in textile drying due to their high thermal conductivity, which provides optimal heat transfer. They are often used in applications where static electricity accumulates on the surface and needs to be dissipated, such as wallpaper drying, which occurs very quickly and generates high levels of static electricity. Antistatic materials are also called static dissipative materials.
